Questions on getting used to the US Airways/AA merger?

Questions on getting used to the US Airways/AA merger?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,

I’m trying to get used to the US Airways/AA merger and since I wasn’t an AA flyer I’m trying to figure out how to do things on their web site.

They gave me a new AA FF# for my US Airways account but I already had an AA FF# so I emailed them and they eventually combined the two.

The problem is that prior to them doing that I booked a trip and used the “new” AA FF#. How do I get them to change the FF# on that trip? Since they merged my “new” AA # to the old account I can no longer log into the old account (probably de-activated it) and I can’t see my trip in the “old” AA # when I log since that trip only has the new AA #.

Can I do this without calling reservations? Thanks. (I now realized I should have did the combine account thing prior to the merger but I guess that is a lesson learned.)

    Thanks

@ rich — I’d probably just call, but you can also fix it at check-in, I’d imagine.
