Mattress run for SPG Platinum?

Mattress run for SPG Platinum?

  1. Mattr New Member

    Hi Lucky,

I am 3 nights away from Starwood platinum status. I am wondering what you think is the most cost effective way to obtain the status. I have the SPG Amex, and live in Dallas.

    Thanks!

Find a cheap hotel and do a mattress run? If you are able to find a friendly front office manager and arrange things in advance you might not even have to go to the property.

Keep in mind SPG allows you to earn credit on three rooms per stay, so if you can find a cheap rate just book three rooms. 🙂

quick question: is it possible to earn credits at two different hotels simultaneously, for the purposes of a mattress run? Thanks

I don’t think so, but you could still book multiple rooms at the same property. Just have a family member or friend “stay” in the other and use your SPG number
