hello lucky

I am travelling from Manila to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific next week. I recently status matched my Emirates Gold card to Air Berlin Top Bonus Gold card and hence now have One World Sapphire status. I won’t receive my new card by the time I take that flight. I just wanted to know is there any way of making use of the OW sapphire status benefits like excess baggage and lounge access, without actually having the Air Berlin gold card ? If I just give my Air Berlin number or show my online account on my mobile, would that work ? Or can they just look up on their computer systems at the airport to Reconfirm my sapphire status ?

Please advice what to do ? Thanks 🙂

@ Hasan — They should be able to look in the system and add it to your reservation at check-in.
