Is there a date in 2016 when AA will go revenue-based

Is there a date in 2016 when AA will go revenue-based

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi Ben. I heard that AA will go revenue-based and we will get fewer redeemable miles for inexpensive tickets in the second half of 2016. Is there a date when this will happen? My husband and I are EXPLATS now and are trying to maximize earning and redeeming points as well as requalify for EXP next year. I was hoping to fly more long inexpensive trips by the end of June to maximize RDMs and EQMs but also am redeeming and flying some awards using AA miles so I hope we have more time until AA goes revenue-based..

Thanks for any information you can provide

@silver springer so far we only know it will happen in the second half of 2016. No concrete dates unfortunately.
