In which hotelprogram is the status transferable to another familymember

In which hotelprogram is the status transferable to another familymember

Dear Lucky, I’m staying before New Year’s Eve in a Radisson hotel in Dubai. They do have a executive lounge for members. I had a diamond status match a couple years ago. I was asking now for a new status match again as I do have a Hilton diamond. They refused it, saying that they only do it once. therefore I am thinking of matching to any other loyalty program where I can pass on the status to my mom and then ask for her for the status match for Rezidor.

Do you know any program which allows a family member to achief to same status as the member of the loyalty program.
Would you have any other ideas in order to achieve the exit door diamond status for a second time.

    Looking forward to your reply,
    Regards

Would it just be easier (less of a hassle), to simply book an executive level room that automatically grants lounge status?

I’m not very familiar with Radisson, but I know that’s always an option at Marriotts and Hilton (my two primary chains).

Yes. AFAIK, there is no program that allows you to gift top tier status to anyone.
