Hyatt Globalist

Hyatt Globalist

Hi Tiffany & Lucky!

I’m 11 nights away from Hyatt Globalist status for 2019 and am seriously considering a mattress run. I was thinking a MAX budget of $1000 dollars but would like to spend a LOT less!!!! Is this a crazy idea? Not worth it? I’m in the NY metro area and willing to travel via plane/train/automobile in order to lock in a super low rate at a Hyatt Place or Hyatt House or any Hyatt for that matter.
Also, any advice on how to steamline search when you have so many open variables? Lowest rate, essentially anywhere, although anywhere within US seems to make most sense, between now and the end of the year? The Hyatt site feels a little clunky to me for doing this sort of search. I keep guessing at random locations (Dulles airport for instance) that I think will have low rates. I find the Hyatt site is a little clunky for this sort of search…

Many, many thanks!!! Your site is such an amazing resource and is appreciated on a daily basis! 🙂

Hello Lisa.

The Hyatt site allows you to search for entire countries including the USA.

Try the following; Select a date and search for United States, this will take a while, when you get the results go to Sort by Price, browser will spin for a while again and voila you should have a list of cheap Hyatts..

Places that come up on the East coast for a week I searched in mid December on lower end of price scale was the following:

Hyatt Place Ocean City / Oceanfront
Ocean City, Maryland

Hyatt Place Daytona Beach – Oceanfront
Daytona Beach Shores, Florida

Hyatt Place Pittsburgh/Cranberry
Cranberry Township

Hyatt Place Baltimore/Owings Mills
Owings Mills, Maryland

Hyatt Place Richmond/Arboretum
Richmond, Virginia

Thank you! I had no idea you could search entire countries and then sort by price. Super helpful!!

This is tremendous, thank you. Can’t wait to dig in and search these locations specifically!

Welcome @LisaAnnEve

Please don’t blindly follow my suggestions, might not be the best options for your dates.

Also keep in mind that Las Vegas hotels can be very cheap Sun-Thu and MGM properties counts for night credits, just watch out for the resort credits.

Also have you considered hotels outside the US? If you are making a holiday of the mattress run of course.

Yes, of course — not following blindly — just grateful for the compass being pointed in the proper direction. The suggestions were tremendously helpful. There is also some 3rd night free deals I’ve for be been exploring— if I add a few nights and make it an “extended stay.”

Great deals overseas in India at Hyatt — but it’s not worth miles/time for that sort of run…at least at this moment in time, as much as I would LOVE to go! Thank you again for your insight!

Was thinking a bit closer than India.

Since Lucky made these reviews, Hyatt has opened in Bogota and Cartagena with rates in the 120 range.

Would be higher than your budget, but holiday in the sun and all that.

Bit uncertain about the security situation since it’s Mexico, but Hyatt Rengecy Merida is doing 4 night free at $64
