david anderson New MemberLucky- What is the deal with upgrades in the Delta medallion program? I wouldn’t expect to get the Delta One upgrade heading to Europe or Asia as a gold medallion member, but I feel like I have gotten the upgrade to Mexico before. I texted Delta and the person on the other end said that non domestic flights are not eligible, regardless of status. Heading from ATL to St Martin in a few weeks and hopeful to get the upgrade. Have I got a chance or will they just leave those unsold first seats empty?

I believe Delta groups the continental US, Mexico and the Caribbean as one in terms of routes eligible for complimentary upgrades, so you should have a chance.
