Getting to Marriott Platinum Premiere

Getting to Marriott Platinum Premiere

  1. MarriottPlatJK New Member

    Situation:
I am at 13 year of Platinum and 725 nights. In order to get to lifetime before the end of the year, i need to get to 750. I have talked with multiple reps on the phone and get conflicting info but here are the 2 ways i can get over the “hump”.

    1. Use my plat/plat premiere bonus of 5 elite nights (10 total) — Conflicting info here as to whether or not they apply to lifetime status. The terms say no but one rep told that they are grandfathering in people for 2018 to apply to lifetime

    2. Get marriott CC. 15 elite nights per year. Both reps have said this counts towards status in this year but the website says “15 ELITE NIGHT CREDITS
Coming 2019 – Receive 15 Elite Night Credits each calendar year. Restrictions apply.*

They claim it applies as soon as you get the card. Can anyone verify?

Anything else i may be missing to get the nights if one of these dont work in the next 45 days? I will be staying another 5-6 night as well which give me a little wiggle room
