Flying Blue Platinum treatment on Delta Domestic
As I am based our of the Netherlands I am a member Flying Blue and have reached platinum status, which is their top tier. Now i do quite a lot of US domestic travel w Delta but somehow always end at the bottom of their upgrade list probably because of all the diamonds. with the amount of flight i could easily reach platinum level Now what do I do, skymiles doesnt allow status match with skyteam member, but i cant enjoy any of the top tier benefits this way. Any ideas?
Hi
I am based out of Amsterdam so I am a member of the Flying Blue program and am platinum level (their highest tier). Now I do a fair share of US domestic travel with Delta. I always opt in for medallion upgrades but always end up on the bottom of the list. Probably because of Delta Diamonds going first. Now what should I do,
– Delta Skymiles doesnt offer Status match to Skyteam members.
– I cant get to a higher tier with flyining blue
Any tricks of the trade to make a chance to get these First class upgrades?
I can’t think of anything right now but you have you considered switching your FF crediting to DL? Depending on how much you fly and how much you value domestic US upgrades it might be a better fit for you…
