    between Aeroplan (Air Canada) and Mileage Plus (United), which one is better to join… As I don’t use either one very frequently… don’t want to waste mileage if ever use any carrier on Star Alliance team

    It depends on a lot of factors… where you live, where you might use those miles to fly to, how averse you are to taxes and fees, what other currencies you hold that you could transfer to top up your balance and redeems for a ticket. Do you have any insight into any of these questions?
