Best airline ffp for people based in Hong Kong?

Best airline ffp for people based in Hong Kong?

  1. Anonymous Guest

I live in Hong Kong. But I tend to find the cheapest airline and fly on them. I tend to fly oneworld, since CX is in the alliance. However, CX’s FFP programme is just a ripoff , 100USD for joining fee! I also fly Skyteam and Star Alliance, but those airlines don’t suit me (eg Air France Klm/ Singapore Airlines) For me, is it possible to have any airline status or do I need to commit to 1 airline?

What is the biggest benefit of a FFP program to you? Status? Ease of redeeming miles? If the latter, the answer may depend on which region you’d be redeeming the most miles in. So maybe if you can tell us your goals and travel patterns we can help provide a better answer.
