I need 19100 points to make executive platinum for 2016.

I am based on Mia and willing to pay Business in order to get the 2EQP.

Can someone help with a route for dec around the 8?

    Thanks

How much are willing to spend?
How long can you be away for?

Would suggest you look on Google flights for flights leaving on the 8. Chose J class and Oneworld.

Brazil might be a good option with cheap prices at the moment and direct flights and would get you most of the way there when it comes to points.

While a bit overkill for your requirements, Asia might be an option if you have a a bit more time to take off.

Most flight on BA or Finnair which are JV partners with AA and should earn double points, cost around 4-5K USD with with flight out of Mia on the 8 and return on the 13.

    BA to India and Malaysia.

Finnair to SIN, HKG, China and South Korea.

Helsinki-Shanghai possible on Finnairs new A350 for about 4K$, but would require an overnight stay in HEL on return

With the 2 EQP per mile flown on business I need 9600 miles in total so HK Malaysia is not neccesary.
I can fly mia lax rt in first claa for 3 eqp for mile for around 3k and no need to stay overnight.

I was hoping for some suggestion in that kind of trip

    Thanks

Well you did ask for J and not domestic F in first post.

Assuming you are willing to do a short redeye on the return SEA and ANC might be your best bets.

MIA-ORD-SEA-MIA is possible for 1162$ in Domestic F and is just over 5600 miles long.

MIA-PHX-ANC-PHX-MIA will set you back 1666$ in Domestic F and is just over 9K miles long.

This run to Brazil is possible for 1831$ in J and is just over 8K mile, no overnight stays in Brazil needed.
