AA EXP for 2018

AA EXP for 2018

I know I should not be focused on this but I am. Currently an EXP on AA for past few years and have the bug to continue as I live in MIA. As of May, I’ve made the 3K bonus EQDs and 5K EQMs for the first stage of the Aviator Card. I will make the EQDs for 2018 but think that even if I make the maximum second stage of the Aviator 3K/5K bonuses- I will be short on the final EQMs for 2018 as most of my flights are short hops to Mexico.
Aside from flying for cheap to China (which I have no desire to do and dont want to get a visa)….. any thing else I may have missed on how to get more EQMs? I also have the AA Exec World Elite card that may gain me more EQMs?

How many EQM are you needing?

Too early to know, as it’s only May. But, without a big trip, I am guessing about 20,000 short in EQMs.
So, that World Elite Card (that I rarely use) could give me 10K EQMs if I met the min spend for this year?

Potentially, you could earn 10,000 EQM for $40,000 spend on the World Elite Card and it would appear that you could earn another 10,000 EQM for an additional $40,000 spend on the Aviator card (a lot of spend!).

As for mileage runs, AA is showing MIA-MXP first week of November for $486 for around 10,000 EQM which may be an easier lift than the dual credit card spend.

You are right about that spend…. The Aviator card makes it easier. MXP is a good suggestion as I just came back the other week and have a good friend living there. If in the future you think of any others- I’m listening. Thanks again Gia.
