With a 23 hour layover in AUH, can we enter the Etihad FC lounge when landing and also the next day?

Anonymous GuestLucky – My wife and I are flying First Class from LHR-AUH-DOH (from LHR to AUH in Etihad and on to DOH in Qatar). We have a 23 hour layover in AUH, which means we plan to go out and explore the town. Can we enter the Etihad First Class Lounge as soon as we land in AUH, and again the next day for our next flight to DOH?
It would be great if you could clarify what the lounge rules are when it comes to overnight layovers trying to enter the lounge a day before your next flight, and if it varies by airline. -

@ JorgeC — You would need to clear immigration first, but Etihad has a nice arrivals lounge in Abu Dhabi, so you could use that. Access typically varies by carrier/alliance: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/25/know-lounge-access-international-itineraries/
