Traveling to Israel from US this summer- best way to get most AA miles?

Traveling to Israel from US this summer- best way to get most AA miles?

I’m traveling to Tel Aviv in July and I’d like to fly on a Oneworld alliance partner so that I can maximize the miles I get on American Airlines. I’ve currently got Gold status, and I’d like to maintain it. My question then, is this: Since AAL now does this dollar valuation on miles awarded based on what you pay, is there a partner airline that would be a better bang for my buck from a mileage perspective? Also, I know some airlines base fares don’t count towards miles on partner airlines- are there any I should avoid?

    Thanks!

Welcome @SBH425 – you’ll have to check the fare classes of the flights to see how much credit you’d get. Look at wheretocredit.com to see how much each partner fare class would earn for you.
