Anonymous GuestHI, do you need a transit visa if booking a through-flight via Riyad or Jeddah? Or is a visa only required if you want to leave the airport?

Hi Knut,
If your layover is less than 12 hours, no visa is needed and you can stay at the airport.
You are not allowed to leave the airport.
But if your layover is longer than 12 hours (Which is the case with a lot of Saudia Airlines flights) you will need a transit visa.It’s always better to check with the Saudi consulate near you in case you need more info.
