Anonymous GuestWe will have a nine hour layover in Istanbul on November 6, less than a week after the new airport is scheduled to become operational (October 31). I’ve been unable to determine whether Turkish Airlines’ lounge will be completed and open by November 6. Do you know, or can you find out from Turkish Airlines? Media reports indicate that “some” construction at the new airport will not be completed by opening date. We have e-visas (from our outbound leg, when we WILL stopover in Istanbul) so we can spend time on Nov. 6 in the city, if necessary. But having been there several times before, we’d prefer to hang out in the lounge at the airport. Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated.
