Lounge access

Lounge access

I was wondering about lounge access. My parents have an upcoming trip EWR to PEK to KMG. It is all under one itinerary. The EWR to PEK leg is business class, but the 2nd leg is economy because the plane doesn’t have that class. They have a 6 hr layover in PEK, so hoping for lounge access but I wasn’t sure if they would have it. Thanks!

Assuming you’re on either Air China or United, Star Alliance lounge access is only based on the departing flight. Unless your parents have Priority Pass, they wont have lounge access in PEK.

The good thing is that they can access the fantastic UA Polaris Lounge at EWR – https://onemileatatime.com/united-polaris-lounge-newark-review/
