HKG Lounges for Overnight Layover?
I am looking at flying Cathay from JFK-HKG-DPS. I’ll use Alaska and book first class. Of course I want to maximize my ground experience and spend as much time in the lounge as possible. The thing is, the HKG-DPS flight leaves at 10:30am and is not offering first class, only business and economy. If I keep my first class boarding pass from the prior day and add in a stopover in HKG, will they still allow me in the Wing/Pier first class lounges (even though my departing flight is in Business)?
Thanks
They will not – it has to be the same day boarding pass. I’m in the same boat you are actually. For me, I’d rather sleep in a bit more, get to the airport early enough to get some breakfast in their Business lounge and call it a day, since the flight to DPS is so early.
If you really want to get into the Pier F, see if you can get HKG-BKK on F, then BKK-KUL-DPS on MH?
