CMB turnaround on CX – anyone done it? Is it easy?
Just wondering if any has ever done the turnaround in CMB on CX flights 611 and 610 from HKG? I think there is about 1h15min between flights. I understand that you dont not need to cross customs and immigration and can stick around in the gate areas…
Lucky did CX SIN-CMB-SIN a few years ago:

CMB no longer allows turnarounds. If same ticket, you will not be allowed to board in HKG, might get lucky if CX does not know about your return segment but it is unlikely even for separate tickets, as the airline is the same.

Thanks @TexasFlyer . Unfortunate. Is that CX not allowing the turnaround or CMB airport itself?
Pretty sure he’s trolling.
A direct turn should be fine. You may need to get thru some sort of transit security though. CX wont care you’re doing a direct turn – it’s not illegal or anything
CMB will likely not allow you and CX will enforce this already in HKG. Good luck trying though. There is gate security at CMB.
