Business Saver to Business Flex upgrade

Business Saver to Business Flex upgrade

  1. Nick Art Member

    Well, I have a problem.

I booked a trip to Edinborough from Zurich on Swiss for travel in July. I booked my ticket as Business flex and the ticket of my two companions as Business Saver (the only two Business options) The price difference per person was 60 bucks when I booked and the same price is still available now. Both flights are in booking class P, respectively P-Flex and P-Saver.

No I have no idea why I booked them in Saver, I mean after allI I booked myself in flex and 60 bucks more per person for flex is a good deal. I made a mistake while selecting there.

The price for one ticket was about 700-800 bucks. (As mentioned you can still book the tickets for the same price).

Now I need to change the day of departure. With my flex ticket that is no problem at all but with the saver ticket this is a huge issue. They tell me it’s not possible and that my only option is to cancel (with a refund of 60 bucks for two tickets that cost over 1500!) and book a new ticket for another 1500. They also tell me that “upgrading” the ticket from saver to flex (after all the prices are still the same and I’d gladly even pay double the difference) is not possible.
(Although a friend of mine did exactly that once and I have not reached him
    yet to tell me how)

Does anybody have a suggestion or an idea what I could do in this situation? Or how to get them to let me upgrade my ticket?

    Help would really be appreciated.
