Business Class From NYC to ANC

Business Class From NYC to ANC

  1. Anonymous Guest

I need to fly from the NYC area (preferably EWR) to Anchorage for business. My client is willing to pay the fare so I’m not looking to use miles or for a cheap flight. Instead, I’m looking for the best business class product. There are no direct flights to ANC from NYC, so I’m thinking I would fly United PS Business to either LAX or SFO and then fly on to ANC from there, but I can’t seem to find any reviews of business class flights to ANC from LAX or SFO. Does anyone have any recommendations or an alternate itinerary?

I live in Anchorage, so naturally my “normal” airline is Alaska Airlines. And Alaska’s planes don’t have business class – only coach and first. I just now did a quick search on Delta and United, and they show their Anchorage flights also have only coach and first. So that’s why you haven’t found any reviews of business class to Anchorage – there are no flights to Anchorage with business class (that I know of, anyway).

Another route option you might consider (if you don’t mind forgoing the United PS to LAX or SFO) is New York > Seattle > Anchorage. It’s a quicker route, but of course not as many flight miles.

Hey Dave! Nothing is really great up to Anchorage, to be honest. No one offers anything better than your typical domestic first, though Delta and Alaska are probably better than American and United.
