Booking exotic trip to Madado and Sorong (diving trip in Raja Ampat): DIY or seek help?
Lucky-
This is follow up to my question about SFO-SIN. We have about 400K UR miles and I had asked about using for business class–you replied why not Korean for first class. I didn’t consider that I usually use United and then their partners but through the website.
I should say (don’t know if it makes a difference) that Singapore is the “gateway” city for a trip to Madado and Sorong (diving trip in Raja Ampat). I figured we’d pay for economy one way to Manado and on to Sorong. We’d come back from Sorong and options are Sorong-Singapore-SFO or Sorong-Jakarta-SFO. All really long flights, so the more comfortable the better!
Is this the kind of trip I can book on my own or is this the kind I should engage professional help for? I like the trip planning but I’ve never ventured outside the United options.
Thanks as always!
@ Margaret — Korean Air is definitely one of the more complex programs, so I guess it depends how much you’re looking to learn. I’ve written extensively about Korean Air if you’d like to learn, including this post:
