Hi Lucky,

I booked a ticket with the OS error fare BKK-VIE earlier this week. Travel date is in early April, coinciding with a popular holiday seasons in the Sinosphere. This is actually for a business travel not leisure.

The problem is when I checked Austrian website, my booking still listed “confirmed.” But I’ve also heard some people advised that I should check the “coupon” status (e.g. via website such as saudi.com which provides access to amadeus system). Unfortunately mine shows VOID.

People are saying that once the Coupon Status is VOID, that means OS has cancelled my ticket.
(And still, OS website specifies CONFIRMED.)

Now I really don’t know what to do. Even is OS choose to be low-class and not honoring these error fares like CX did earlier this year, fine. But at least they shouldn’t purposely remained silence and making passengers panic.

I am really afraid that OS will keep silent, and I really don’t know if they would honor this ticket and I should make further travel plans. After all, I really don’t want to travel to BKK only to realize I am denied boarding and being stranded there.

What would you advise affected passengers like me should do now? Many thanks!
