Just flew back on AA 62 and 63 MIA CDG MIA. The equipment was a newly renovated 777-200 (3), no First Class, all Biz seats were forward facing with 6 rows in front cabin, 4 rows in back cabin……. both in the 1-2-1 config. It was the BE Super Diamond Seat (I think). Very nice.
Flying same route in September but my preferred seats 3L / 4L rows are sold out. I need intel on that smaller back cabin.
Question is: where can I find fresh seat reports on this? I checked SeatGuru and SeatMaestro but neither had the right type of aircraft. I guess I will check Expert Flyer? Thanks.

Just noticed that ExpertFlyer uses SeatGuru maps. Therefore, I am still lost as both do not have the updated AA Super Diamond Seat configs. Not important, I am just noting that these seat maps are somewhat outdated. When I boarded the earlier flight last month, there were people that were complaining that the aircraft was not what they expected (due to SeatGuru, I guess).

Is Seat Maestro any better? I’ve noticed Ben is using that in some of his screen shots.

Nope. SeatMaestro has it wrong too.

I am seeing that the old Zodiac (front / rear seat facing) is being nicely replaced by the BE Super Diamond seat. That being said, I’d love to see a report on those newer / better seat layouts. thnx

I contacted Expert Flyer. They were super quick on emails. They said that they are only posting the intel that AA is delivering to them. The Zodiac config is the same as the BE Super Diamond in general. So, they were telling me to “zip it”…. seats are in the same location, they all face forward, you are either close to the restrooms, or you are not. Im going to leave it at that.
