AnonymousI read the 24hr stopover in Ethiopia and was curious to know if you had any issues with a transit visa? From what I’ve read elsewhere, you need to get the transit visa even for a short visit (as long as you are leaving the airport). You can get it in advance or at the airport but apparently at the airport can take a while. I plan to be doing a similar stopover in Addis and don’t want any delays as I’ll just have the afternoon and evening there (leaving early the next morning).

You can get an eVisa for Ethiopia, so you can bypass that line and go directly to the eVisa dedicated immigration lanes
