Which card to use on cruise ships for onboard account?

Which card to use on cruise ships for onboard account?

Going on first cruise (Holland America) and I was wondering if anyone knows how they categorize onboard purchases (beverages, spa, excursions) with the credit card you put on file so I can maximize my credit card points? Is it all categorized as travel, food, non bonus, etc?

I have CSP, Chase Freedom, SPG personal, Amex Platinum.

    Thanks!

I would think it’s categorized as travel. My last cruise was a European river cruise and the charges for extra excursions as well as the tips for the crew all came out as a charge to Viking. It counted as travel on my CSP though I could have also used my Barclay’s Arrival Plus to offset those charges.
