What are the three main combinations of cards?

I have learned SO much from you and read your posts daily – thank you for the great info.

I cannot find a post I once saw detailing three main categories of cards, which I believe referred to as the “trifecta of points”.

For example, the Amex platinum was grouped with other Amex cards and loyalty programs.
As a comparison, there were two other groups, each having a $450 card like the Amex platinum, and grouped with other cards from the same bank and more loyalty programs.
It explained how to make a decision regarding which program works best based on several crititeria.

    Do you recall this post?

    Thanks again
