Hyatt Free Night/Cancelling Card

Hyatt Free Night/Cancelling Card

I would like to cancel my Hyatt card, so that in a month or two I can apply for the new Hyatt card. I just received my anniversary free night in December, but will not be using the night until June. If I cancel the card now will Chase/Hyatt take away my free night??

No, they won’t take away a free night certificate if you’ve already used it by booking a reservation. Do keep in mind that if you received the bonus points for signing up for the Hyatt card, you can’t receive the bonus again for 24 months.
