Clarifying United Explorer Benefits

Clarifying United Explorer Benefits

In light of the devaluation changes taking place for United, I’m evaluating if it is worth it to maintain my United CC. A benefit that was really important to me was the expanded award availability on United flights with the card. It seems like the devaluation makes that a bit moot since I’d expect more availability to be supplied to all customers as long as flights have open seats. Is it right for me to interpret the change this way? Are there any other benefits I’m forgetting that would make the card worth it?

@Aerov53 You can downgrade to the no fee card and still maintain access to expanded inventory.
