Hello – While I would love to do more international travel, our family travels primarily in the US. Having learned about the SW companion pass on this forum (and wondering how I never knew about that before!), I am actively pursuing that for 2016. I currently have the Rapid Rewards Premier Visa and just saw the 50K bonus hit my SW account – yay! I had not included my husband when the account was opened in hopes of scoring some type of bonus for adding authorized users. Thus far, I haven’t seen any – are those ever offered with that card?

Next up will be to open the business account though since I don’t have my own business, I’m curious if that will be approved….credit score is not a problem. We’ll see!

Welcome [USER=998]@Devi[/USER] – I don’t recall ever seeing a bonus for adding an authorized user on the Southwest card, though I admit I don’t follow that card closely. Congrats on the 50K bonus and good luck with the business card!

[USER=998]@Devi[/USER]–it’s worth tracking the card for a little while. Chase is usually very good about matching to the best offer for a few months after opening.

You’ll want to have some sort of solid business or plan in mind when applying for the second card. I’ve heard quite a few reports of detailed questioning by Chase before approving business card products. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick response MidSouth Skier! I’ll give it a little longer and if no bonus pops up for adding authorized users, I’ll go ahead and add hubby to this particular card.
