Amex Platinum Uber Credit Receipts

Amex Platinum Uber Credit Receipts

  1. AJP New Member

Wondering if anybody’s come up with a solution to this problem. I use Uber only for work purposes, almost never personal. So the monthly credit from Amex Platinum is useful to me only insofar as my employer reimburses trips using it. (My employer is fine with that – there’s no deception.)

Problem is that Uber receipts for trips that partially use the Amex credits always show “Total: $15.00” at the top, regardless of the actual trip total. That presents a mess every time I submit for reimbursement. Uber’s response by support is “we’re sorry but we can’t fix it.” Any other solutions?

    Thanks.

Are you doing this from the Uber website or the app?

I just went to look at one of my receipts from a trip where I used my monthly credit. It was my first ride of the month, so I had the full $15 to use. My trip was $11.74 and it doesn’t mention the 15 anywhere.

I’m looking at the pdf of my receipt that you can download from the website, if that helps…

Thanks – this is the other way around: an Uber ride costing more than $15, not less. It does seem to happen every time, and it happens regardless of whether I get the receipt via the app or via the website.
