Hello!

I’m a longtime reader and have a question about AmEx claw backs. I was just approved for the AmEx Business 100K offer (my first Platinum card) and I have a friend who has offered to allow me put 15k of his business expenses on my card (and reimburse me); so that I can meet the minimum spend quickly (and then proceed with my own expenses). There not be any “manufactured spend” and no gift cards purchased and his expenses would be legitimate expenses for his business (just not mine).

[B]Would this method be considered an infraction against Amex’s terms and conditions and thus, an opportunity for AmEx to clawback my 100k MR point bonus from my account?[/B]

And the clawback reports that I have seen have all been for people who applied for cards that seem to have been targeted offers that were leaked. You should be fine on that front too.
