AMEX MR Enrollment Bonus

AMEX MR Enrollment Bonus

I know that Amex does not allow someone to get an enrollment bonus on a card they have already held. I applied for the Amex Gold Business card (forgetting that I had this card several years ago) as there was a 75k MR bonus for spending $10k in 3 months. I met the requirements and no bonus hit my account. It took one call and an escalation to get a supervisor to waive the rule and give me the bonus anyway. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this approach, but if you do make this mistake (and are a reasonably high dollar customer – $50k+/year for me) they may make an exception.

I think their business cards are one bonus per 12 months if you dont still have the card but that may have changed.

Definitely not. Was told by multiple folks that it’s one bonus per card – lifetime.

@David W that was the old rule but has changed for business cards as well unless you find an application without the language. Glad that it worked out for you @PJS678.
