Will United waive award redeposit fee

Will United waive award redeposit fee

  1. GBOAC Diamond

United joined the rest of the big airlines in announcing they will waive change fees. I have to cancel an award flight and will face a $125 redeposit fee. Does anyone know (hopefully from personal experience) whether United will waive the redeposit fee and if so what if anything I need to make that happen?

Don’t know for sure but saw a tweet yesterday where Delta was not waiving award redeposit fees (at least at that particular moment). Wouldn’t surprise me if United’s not waiving it (yet) either.
