Using amEx points for Delta or Qantas

Using amEx points for Delta or Qantas

Hi, I’m searching for 2 business class flights from Singapore to Denver on 9/1/19. I just got the 100k sign up with the AmEx Platinum. Looking at, I see there are Delta and Qantas flights available. I’m new at this; do I have enough to cover? The flights are about $6700/ea in USD.

    Hi Christie –

If you’re trying to use your points to offset the cost of a cash ticket, then yes, you’d use And no, unfortunately you don’t have enough points for that.

However, if you’d like to transfer your points to one of AmEx partners, you have a lot more options. You’ll still be a bit short on points, but they will certainly go farther.
