United SFO to LIR

I was quite pleasantly surprised this weekend, when I was able to book 8 award tickets for UA F Class for a total of 480,000 points. Based on current pricing, I received $0.034 per mile, which I believe is exceptional.

I understand this is “domestic” F product, but is this a normal redemption, let alone 8 seats upfront on a 737-9, or is this the result of the pandemic?

I read that as LHR – London, and I was shocked!! That would be pretty damn cool. But, Costa Rica isn’t that bad either.

I do think 30,000 each way is the saver level price for Business Class from the US to Central America

I wish LHR…a nice bed at that level would be great. This is enough to impress the niece and nephew for a graduation present. Cheers!
