United nonstop award search broken?

United nonstop award search broken?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi Lucky and One Mile team, I’ve had a recent issue searching for award space on United. I am looking for a weekend Saver level business award flight on their nonstop AMS-IAH route. However, whenever I search the calendar portion showing two months of availability at the top of the site shows all flights and no combination of checking the “Show Nonstop only” and editing my search and unchecking the 1 or 2+ boxes seems to correct this. It seems like a similar if not identical issue to the one posted in the article below:

However, I am looking at the new United site with the bars and dots scheme denoting award availability instead of the colored system of the previous redesign. My question is if there is some way to force the calendar view to only show nonstop awards? Otherwise I am stuck with clicking 60 individual days, which I’d honestly rather pay an award booking service to handle for me.

Thanks for any insights you might have!

Sometimes there’s a button to only search nonstop flights, but it doesn’t always appear, and even when it does the results aren’t always accurate.

If you’re only interested in non-stop flights I would not recommend a booking service though. You’d be better served booking a connecting option and setting an ExpertFlyer alert for the nonstop.

The calendar is useless Jason. You have to open up the days. You wouldn’t take a saver award on Lufthansa with a stop in Frankfurt?
