Anonymous GuestHi. I am looking at booking an award from North America to Abu Dhabi. Right now for the dates I want there is first class on a B787 out of IAD. That said, I would love to try the new 380 first class out of JFK. However there is only business class. Do you think I should book the business class with the hope that maybe award space becomes available for my dates? Or should I just book the the first class that is currently available out of IAD knowing that it is a “sure thing”?

Which miles would you be using? If American, you can always change the routing later for no fee as long as the origin and destination remain the same, so I’d just go ahead and book first, personally.
