Question regarding AA change of date

Question regarding AA change of date

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey guys,

I am looking to buy miles at the current rate of 1.8cpm, however the dates I would preferably like to redeem for won’t be released before the March devaluation. If I book for somes dates after March on the exact route that I want, and availability comes up on the dates I want, am I able to change and only pay the change fee? Or will they also slug me with the difference in miles?

    Cheers

John, no one can say for sure since AA has not provided any definitive information. Most people are going on the working hypothesis that a simple date change would probably be fine but more complicated changes involving different partners might trigger a redeposit and new issue fees.
