Married Segment Availability on Iberia?

Married Segment Availability on Iberia?

  1. Anonymous

Hi. I’m trying to search for 3 business class seats on Iberia (using Iberia Avios), ORD > MAD > MUC, on or around April 14, 2018. I can find business class availability for the ORD > MAD segment, but when I look for an ORD > MUC itinerary it shows no business class availability on the transatlantic segment. Is there any sort of known issue on this with Iberia award bookings? I see the same issue when searching through BA. Appreciate any help from Iberia gurus!

Iberia does have married segment logic, but it’s generally the reverse of what you’re describing, where space on the longhaul is only available if you have a connecting segment.

If space is available ORD>MAD, and also MAD>MUC, you should be able to combine them, but it’s hard to get anything done with Iberia sometimes.
