Korean Air will charge fees on changing awart ticket (maybe 2017/08~)
Hi, my name is Kim, and from South Korea.
I never leaved outside our country…so my English is very poor….anyway
I’ ve heard very astonishing news about KE award ticket.
About an year ago, Ben posted “The 4 airlines with best awart ticket change policies..bla bla”
But this will definitely become another ‘past’
It’s not official, but KE anounced that they will charge on award ticket change.
Like other airlines, they probably waive fees on their own elite members (such as Morningcalm premium -half million , Million miller) or some specific conditions, otherwise you have to pay some money if you wanna change award ticket.
They didn’t mention exact number, but in my guess award ticket changing fees will cost about 100~200 USD.
What’s your estimation on KE award fee??
& How much are you willing to pay??
It really depends on what the rules and actual fees are. Airlines are all pretty different when it comes to award fees. If it does happen though, I’m sure Lucky will have a post with details and his thoughts.
