KE Award Space Availability @ DL

KE Award Space Availability @ DL

Flyertalk is saying KE only releases 1 seat per flight now – ever – to DL for partner award bookings. Have you heard/seen this, too? Trying to book HKG-ICN-ATL in J in September 2016.

    Thanks!

@jody — Ouch, just saw that thread and it’s painful.

Anyways, this used to be the “normal” situation prior to early 2014, and at the time the solution was to hold one ticket, then have an agent build a parallel itinerary for the second passenger. Both would populate with space and ticket just fine. I haven’t had occasion to try that lately, so no idea if it still works or not, but finding an agent willing to try is probably not worthwhile.

So, given all that, I think it’s fair to say that for practical purposes there’s only one seat available. Is booking one through Delta and one through Korean an option for you?
