    Looks like it’s 20K each way in economy. Japan is Asia 1 and China is Asia 2. There are region definitions at the bottom of the page.

    You’ll have to look on BA.com or qantas to find space as CX and JL won’t show on aa.com

    Then call AA to book once you find availability. It’s best to spoon feed the airline, date, route and flight number to the agent, ask to hold it so you can look it over in case there are errors, then call to ticket, which shouldnt take long. I’ve only ever had long waits for ticketing EY awards.
