How to Interpret the ANA Engine for *A Awards
I’m experimenting with the ANA search engine for Star Alliance award travel from the West Coast USA to Australia.
I’d previously set up an account for this purpose but have forgotten the password. They’re going to snail mail it to me on a post card :-0 So now I’ve register my husband…
I’ve found a routing that shows “Seats Available.” However, when I choose the segments I’m getting
“This service is not available for the specified itinerary. Please amend the flight criteria and try again.”
Are the seats available? If so, how do I figure out the level of mileage requirements?
Thanks for the help,
Joan

Yeah…I’m not understanding…
I’m searching on the ANA website under
“Award Booking” then “Award Reservation.”
I’m being presented with an itinerary that says “Seats Available.”
But UA isn’t seeing those seats available as award seats.
Does anyone have insight?
Thanks for the help,
Joan
