Etihad vs. Emirates

Etihad vs. Emirates

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi,
I have Amex gold rewards credit card. I want to use my points on emirates airways or etihad airways. what will be the best way to do so? What will be another good card that you can suggest me to carry with me while overseas?

    Hello Mohit Pathak

As far as I know there are no way of directly transferring AMEX MR points to an airlines that can book Etihad awards.

Emirates have number of partners than you can transfer AMEX MR points to.

Best way will probably depend on where you are traveling from and traveling to and which class of service you are looking for?

Are you looking for just a backup card for the Amex Gold Rewards card, or this a card that you planning to put any significant amount of spend on?

A good choice for a backup card would be a card with Chip+PIN.
