Emirates Using Korean skypass

Emirates Using Korean skypass

has anyone used this. I’m trying to figure out the fuel surcharges and best way to find it out. Do I need to call them to see what the fuel surcharge is. Trying to do JFK-DXB.

Have 150K chase points so I think that’s the best route. Any other thoughts that I’m missing??

Try pricing it out on ITA Matrix and looking at the fare breakdown. YQ and YR are the fuel surcharges.

Note that Korean Air requires round trip awards for travel on partner airlines. JFK-DXB round trip on EK booked with KE SkyPass is 140k in business and 210k in First.

Also, fuel surcharges are high. EK First JFK-DXB round trip in August this year shows a YQ of $1454. Could be worth it though – a cash ticket is $26k.
