    Hi

I have miles for an emirates award through Alaska, but can’t find first availability on EK 572/EK 570. Any way to get this space opened up?

Unfortunately there is no way to “open up” space for an award just because a date is desired, especially when the flight is on metal that is not operated by the ticketing carrier. You’d just have to keep monitoring the space to see if something opens up.

If you’re reservation is more than 60 days in advance, book a flight with available seats and then change it as availability opens up? Alaska doesnt charge change fees unless travel is within 60 days.

The potential problem is that when EK572/570 opens up, there might not be availability for your North America-DXB leg
