Delta Redemption

Delta Redemption

    Hey Ben!

I am back but with a non-Etihad question (can you believe that?)
I have 62K miles with Delta and 51K miles due to Amex gold which can be transferred to Delta…Any ideas how i can use them for a business class one way to India? I can transfer 8K to delta, making the 70K for business…but which partner should I try to target so that I am not suffering in comparison to Etihads first class (i know i am so spoilt by just redeeming…I wonder what will happen when I actually fly Etihad!)

@ Rachit — The good news is that you have some decent SkyMiles partners you can use to India. For example, you could try and book on Virgin Atlantic, which would probably be my first choice. If they don’t have availability, I might look at Air France, especially if you can get one of their routes with the new business class. Otherwise KLM is also a great option.

    Enjoy the trip!
