Converting to AA Miles
I need to sign up for a CC with 40k or more bonus that I can convert to AA miles. We already have the AA Barclays cards. Also an SPG Amex which I am going to convert the points into AA miles.
I need to get two rt tkts to Concepcion, Chile….
@KHR, SPG is the only currency that converts to AA miles. Have you had the Citi AA cards that will directly earn you AA miles?
Guarav – I have had the Citi AA card – closed about two years ago. Can I get the bonus again?
Citi’s current rules usually specify you cannot have opened or closed the card within the last two years. If you closed it more than two years ago you should be good to go!
Thanks very much. I should be good to go!
There are several CitiAA cards and you can take advantage of all of them. I would try to find links to a bigger bonus though. Current public offer is 30k on the Citi AA Platinum.
Per milevalue today citi seems to be running a 60k offer after 5k spend for the excecutive card.
Ben has a post about it today too: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/06/01/citi-executive-card-bonus/
